Feelings weigh me down
Struggling to swim
Trying to stay afloat
Yet drowning within
Hard to overcome
Troubles from deep down
Needing more strength
Deeper Still
I plummet down
Drowning,slipping away
Yet I am found
Hands grab hold
I cling to the hope
Misery capsized
eternities sea
Wrote this Monday evening. I like it, though it might need additional polishing.

Did you write this for the victims of Katrina? 'Cause I could see how it could be interpreted that way.
